NBSC Signs MOU with Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang of Indonesia
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) formalized a partnership with Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) in Malang, Indonesia, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a virtual ceremony held via Zoom on June 29, 2026. NBSC was represented by Maria Michaela Jamora, Head of the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO), and Alven L. Gomez, Head of the Community Extension Services Division (CESD). The MOU strengthens cooperation in academic exchange, research, internationalization initiatives, community engagement, and other mutually beneficial programs.
The signing establishes a shared framework that enables both institutions to pursue initiatives aligned with their respective priorities. It also affirms the commitment of NBSC and UMM to advance international cooperation by building on their strengths in instruction, research, and extension.
The newly forged partnership reinforces NBSC’s efforts to expand its international linkages and cultivate lasting relationships with institutions abroad. Future initiatives under the MOU are expected to enrich academic and extension programs, encourage collaborative research, and support the College’s continuing pursuit of excellence within an increasingly interconnected higher education landscape.
